The front of this 5 Tala polymer banknote features English and Samoan text, along with a Tueila flower and a beach. On the back, there is English and Samoan text, as well as an image of Villa Vailima, which was once the home of Robert Louis Stevenson and is now the Robert Louis Stevenson Museum. Also featured is the Samoan coat of arms and a Tueila flower. The banknote is 139 x 71 mm and does not have a security thread or watermark. It is printed by De La Rue with the Safeguard technology.
