The Monetary Authority of Singapore issued Singapore Dollar banknotes in 12 different denominations, including this 50 Singapore Dollars banknote (Orchids series). They are part of the withdrawn Singapore Dollar banknotes series. The Monetary Authority of Singapore started issuing these 50 Singapore Dollar banknotes in 1967. They were withdrawn from circulation in 1976.

The Singaporean currency note of fifty dollars features a majulah singapora with violet flowers. Text on the $50 Singapore dollar bill reads ‘Singapore’.
