Here is a note from Western Samoa officially known as the “Independent State of Samoa”. Samoa is a very small island country in the South Pacific Ocean and became independent in 1962 from New Zealand.
This is a 1 Tālā issued by the Monetary Board of Western Samoa. This is undated issue from the 1980 – 84 series and is probably Pick # 19 of the World Paper Money. The note is in a pretty good condition and has been acquired in Amsterdam, Netherlands in May 2012 .
